Wicomico County publishes no official 72-hour or three-day recent-release list. The July 23, 2026 official-channel sweep checked the Corrections landing page, Inmate Information menu, Release Dates, Property, programs, important numbers, quick links, and county navigation. It found no current named-person roster, booking page, released tab, archive, 72-hour filter, release photo, public update schedule, or posted retention period. The finding describes the public county pages on that date. It does not claim that no internal jail record exists.
The Wicomico County Inmate Information menu is the best official visual record of what the public could access during the sweep. The captured page below shows topic links, not a searchable three-day release roll.
A blank page must not be manufactured from news reports, social posts, or commercial booking sites. Instead, search one identified person in Maryland VINE, examine the matching Wicomico court history, and seek the existing county release record if the event must be documented. That method can cover the intended three-day range without implying that an official roster exists.
Check Wicomico Three-Day Releases
Choose the exact start and end dates first. A 72-hour inquiry is a date-range review, not a county feed filter. Preserve each source's event date and reporting agency rather than forcing all timestamps into one list. VINE may report a custody change, the court history may show the order that caused it, and the county record may hold the actual release time and destination. Those facts can differ in purpose without being in conflict.
- Record the person's full name, date of birth or age, case number, jail ID if known, and last known custodian.
- Set a clear three-day range and note whether it crosses a weekend or holiday. Do not assume Wicomico follows a special release schedule.

- Request the county booking or release record when the actual date, time, type, or receiving agency is needed. Ask only for existing records.

Wicomico County publishes no dedicated corrections-record form, inmate-record fee, or online retention rule. A request may ask for electronic copies and an advance fee estimate. The custodian may redact or withhold protected juvenile, medical, victim, investigatory, sealed, expunged, security, or private information. If no record is located, ask which retention schedule applies rather than assigning an unsupported window.
Wicomico Weekend Release Checks
A three-day range is most useful as a reconciliation tool around weekends and holidays. The absence of both a 24-hour and a 72-hour feed is a verified feature of Wicomico's official web setup, not a signal that no one was released. No online fields, cadence, or retention period can be stated because the county did not publish such an interface during the research sweep. The county's alternative release-date page concerns a form given to sentenced inmates. Completed-event confirmation comes from VINE, court history, and an existing county record.

A prediction can change because of court action, sentence credits, holds, transfers, or calculation updates. It should never be converted into an actual-release entry. If friends or family receive the form from the sentenced person, they may use it for planning while still waiting for evidence that the custody event occurred.
Note: The county main line can route a records question, but Wicomico does not promise public disclosure of a projected date by telephone.
Wicomico Release Custody Paths
Every three-day result must identify what happened after Wicomico custody. Release on bond or recognizance ends the local detention episode while the case continues. Time served, sentence expiration, dismissal, acquittal, or another court order can also end local custody. Parole and conditional release place the person in the community under supervision. These are not the same as a transfer.

The Maryland DPSCS locator is current-custody-only. A current match supports state housing, not release. No match can mean release, escape, transfer outside coverage, or an omitted record. Likewise, a Wicomico transfer to DPSCS, USMS, BOP, ICE, or another county ends one local booking but continues legal custody.
Request Wicomico Release Records
Direct a local jail-record request to Wicomico County or the Department of Corrections. The Detention Center is at 411 Naylor Mill Road, Salisbury, MD 21801. Its public number is 410-548-4850. Calling can identify the correct custodian and records route, but staff may not provide release or court dates to the general public. Do not frame the call as a demand for a predicted date.

For a released Maryland state prisoner, send the request to DPSCS instead. The state is not the custodian of the Wicomico county-jail record, and Wicomico does not hold a state-prison commitment history.
