Choose the Right Office
Wicomico County Department of Corrections operates the county jail. For a county detention record, ask the Wicomico County Detention Center to identify the proper records custodian. Its address is 411 Naylor Mill Road, Salisbury, MD 21801. Call 410-548-4850 or fax 410-548-4984. That number can route a records or property question, but staff may not give projected release dates or court dates to the general public.
Property questions use the same main number at extension 324. Pickup hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Confirm that the signed property form has arrived before traveling. The county publishes no special corrections copying fee, so a records requester should ask for an estimate under the Maryland Public Information Act.
The Wicomico County Sheriff can be reached at 410-548-4891, but the Sheriff does not operate the Detention Center. For court-file access, call Wicomico Circuit Court at 410-543-6551 or Maryland District Court for Wicomico County at 410-713-3500. The District Court Commissioner is at 410-548-7030 for commissioner and bond-process questions, not a historical release archive.
