Why This Resource Exists
Wicomico County does not publish a public named-person jail roster, a released-booking archive, or a countywide recent-release feed on its official corrections pages. A missing name therefore does not prove that someone returned to the community. It may reflect a transfer, a court action, a data limit, or another custody event. This site organizes the separate sources that can clarify those events: Wicomico County Department of Corrections records, Maryland VINE notifications, Maryland Judiciary Case Search, the current-custody-only DPSCS locator, Division of Parole and Probation information, and federal custody locators.
The goal is practical context. County jail records and state prison records belong to different custodians. A transfer to the Maryland Division of Correction is continued custody, not a release. Once someone leaves state custody, that person also drops from the public DPSCS locator. These distinctions shape each search path presented here.

What We Cannot Do
Wicomico County Released Inmates is privately run. It is not part of Wicomico County, the Wicomico County Department of Corrections, the Wicomico County Sheriff, Maryland DPSCS, a court, or any other government agency. We cannot make or carry out a custody decision.
- We cannot release, hold, move, or transfer a person in custody.
- We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds for a visitor.
- We cannot confirm custody, charges, release, or supervision.
- We cannot give legal advice or act for a person in a records matter.
- We cannot promise that an outside office's phone number, address, fee, or procedure will remain unchanged.
Only the government office that created or maintains a record can provide an official custody, charge, release, or court response.
